Shaking neglected dog found tied to pole finally gets loving life she deserves when car camper wakes up to dog on doorstep, says: ‘When I set her on my blanket in the back seat she jumps back up front in my lap. I’m just going to let her chill on me.’

When you skulk around at night looking for a good place to dump your dog you would be furgiven fur thinking that tying them up to a pole on a derelict looking street lined with parked cars would do the trick. Leaving behind no trace of your being there and no one around to immediately help the pup. But with the housing crisis we are experiencing today, you never know if a car camper might be lying in wait, ready to spring into action and save the pupper whose life you tried to destroy.

Now, while this story was initially uploaded to r/mildlyinfuriating, we have to say that a lot of what has happened here is incredibly infuriating. First off the dumping of the doggo. An abhorrent act that could have had it eaten by foxes or coyotes. Can you imagine what a simple snack a dog of this size tied up to a pole is for an animal like that? Not to mention that hoomans could have also come along and made this pup's life even more miserable than it was when she was dumped. But much to the luck of this doggo no animal nor hooman happened to pass her way. That is until morning broke and our rescuer emerged from their car.

Laying eyes upon the cute canine our car camper immediately sprung into action, releasing the pupper from the pole and putting her in his backseat while he went off to find supplies. Returning shortly after with food. Though this is where the tale gets rather curious, this dumped doggo who you would expect to eat its own dropping from the floor fur sheer hunger snubbed their rescuer's offer of dog food and refused to eat until offered chicken. Suggesting that this is a dumped dog who up until recently enjoyed quite the high quality of living at home. So you have to wonder, what the heck happened?

Well, scared she might be but a snob apparently she will never stop being. Can you imagine the quality of life that a pup has to have lived in order to refuse the offer of dry dog food after spending at least a whole night tied to a pole outdoors? We can, and we can tell you that it is the literal lap of luxury to be so snobby about food for a pup that they would reject anything. But then the question must be asked as to how and why it came to be that this dog was even dumped if it had such a high quality of life.

Yeah, we are with the rescuer on this one. These kinds of questions are really not ok. Someone has come forth to share with us a story of success. A story of how they were willing to put their own life on hold for another being that needed their support. A story that shows that while you might not have all too much yourself to give, you can still give enough to those who have less and it will go a long way. Not to mention that caring for this doggo in a car is going to be a much greater challenge than a home, and it is still better than being dropped off at the shelter.
